It's hard to not use Ruhr clichés when introducing Timo. He practically grew up in the park in Recklinghausen, where he learned his huge arsenal of tricks in both directions in the shadow of a winding tower. When he's on the BMX, he has energy without end in his luggage and the working ethos of a coal miner. He can ride a whole weekend of shows, do a photo shoot on Sunday evening and then still check in for the night shift after a three-hour drive.
